Sales Director | Business Team

The sales director manages the organization’s merchandise. This includes tracking our sales and inventory, building and maintaining relationships with local vendors, and managing orders. They will also maintain the commerce section of our website and occasionally write advertising copy. The sales director will both manage and seek to expand our sales. We are looking for an innovative and independent researcher interested in devising new ways to broaden our reach. 

Responsibilities

• Tracking sales and inventory

• Contacting and maintaining consignments with local vendors 

• Creating sales reports based on current and historical data

• Writing copy for sales advertising

• Maintaining the commerce section of our website

• Placing, shipping, and distributing orders

Recommended:

• Experience with professional or business writing (i.e., UWP 104A)

• Familiarity with Google Suite

• Proficiency with Squarespace
