The Board of Directors for Open Ceilings is excited to announce that we are hiring!
The board is looking for additional directors to work on the Winter 2025 issue of Open Ceilings, scheduled to be released in November 2024. Open Ceilings needs members who are self-motivated, open-minded, and communicative. Our team depends on outgoing individuals who are capable of developing working relationships with our contributors, as well as team players who are reliable in their deadlines. Working as a central member of the board requires attendance at weekly board and team meetings in addition to independent work. Benefits include experience in publishing, flexible hours, and internship units that can be registered on Schedule Builder (ENL 92/192). Some positions also qualify for internship credit in other departments. All work will be carried out either remotely or in-person, in accordance with campus directives. You must be a registered undergraduate student at UC Davis to apply to a central board position.
