Grants and Fundraising Director | Business Team

The grants and fundraising director works closely with the business team to plan and advertise fundraisers and write grant proposals. They should be a strong writer who is comfortable speaking to faculty members and local businesses. We expect them to actively look for receptive audiences and generate creative new ideas to raise funds for the organization. This position is ideal for someone interested in professional writing, as the position involves a variety of business-oriented copy. 

Responsibilities

• Drafting grant proposals

• Looking for receptive audiences for grants and fundraisers

• Organizing fundraisers

• Writing advertising copy

• Attending and staffing Open Ceilings quarterly events
