When I die I’ll go to Hell because I

By Gale Acuff

When I die I’ll go to Hell because I
sin a lot or will have, that's the plan, that
way I get to meet Satan and what I want
to do is kill him so dead that he won't
want to fool with folks again, never and
ever, I told my Sunday School teacher
just that but she laughed and said Dear Boy, don't
you know that Satan's dead already, how
can you kill him any deader and not
only that but you'll still burn forever
for your sins, no matter how good-hearted
you've been.
I said Oh, I see—yes ma'am—I'll
have to try something else, I guess
, then I
said Goodbye ma'am—see you next Sunday but
I think she must be working for the Devil.
